We fly at 2:05, arriving in SLC at 4:09, and we'll catch a ride with some folks from BYU to the Provo Marriott Hotel, 101 West 100 North.

* KYMAA Meeting, March 27 - 28, 2009 at Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky. 
** The answer would appear to be two talks, early (8:20) on Saturday morning.

** We haven't talked enough about standard errors. Whenever we're doing non-linear regression, we end up with parameter estimates, but in many cases we don't have error estimates. There are approximations available, however....

* We went too long, obviously: how can we best trim out things to get us into shooting range?

* I think that we need to fortify the ending:
** Let's give credit to those who thought of the one-if-by-male, two-if-by-female rule, simply noting that they mistook sweet spots for the general case. The general rule is indeed one-meal-if-by-male, two-meals-if-by-female.
** Grayson: 
*** I'd like to see a little inset for the cumulatives where you're doing the scaling: this would give them a quick visual clue as to what you're doing. It would be the densities, with the cumulatives rising up over top, and an arrow for the male towards the female.
** Katie:
*** Have you managed to get the images to include indicators (color, symbol) for the different species of cicada?
